Near the village of Santulussurgiu are two of the most beautiful wooded location in Sardinia: the Mount San Antonio and San Leonardo. The first is on the way to Macomer Santulussurgiu, is a mountain of 808 m covered with vegetation, there are several species of oak trees and other trees, some over 100 years. On the mountain is a church built by the faithful in 1944 in honor of St. Anthony, on the top there are two statues of the Madonna and another one of San Antonio and an altar to celebrate Mass outdoors. To reach the church must follow the way of the cross strewn with statues representing the Passion of Christ. The town of San Leonardo instead is much closer to Santulussurgiu. It is a small settlement inhabited almost exclusively in summer. People take refuge in this place in search of a cooler climate. This place is famous for Siete Fuentes (in Italian the seven fountains) from which water flows clear and drinkable. Wanting in both places you can make outings and picnics.
