by an isthmus and a bridge, possibly dating
back to the Cartaginese period, the island of S. Antioco has a very pleasing and
inviting character.
Its territory is filled with many impressive archaeological findings from its
ancient past; a past that for many centuries had been influenced by a number
of settlers from many different civilizations.
Along the parameters of the coast, the long and sunny beaches eventually
turn into gracious rocky bays.
The sea, abounding in fish, offers a depth filled with rare beauty. |
