The area
Palau is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Olbia-Tempio in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 220 km north of Cagliari and about 30 km northwest of. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,853 and an area of 44.4 km². Palau borders the following municipalities: Arzachena, Santa Teresa Gallura, Tempio Pausania. It was originally built to provide access to La Maddalena island.
Palau is definitely one of the most spectacular and noteworthy seaside towns in Gallura and bordering the Emerald Coast. It's also an important landing place for ferries coming from Corsica and the archipelago of La Maddalena.

Overview
The new residence complex “Palau Green Village” has been conceived in accordance with Sardinian tradition and architecture. Each apartment has been built with the typical Sardinian stone and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, which are composed by plants typical of the Mediterranean wood and the granite wind-shaped rocks of Gallura. Small pedestrian paths surrounded by vegetation connect the apartments and the swimming-pool. The residence has an exclusive location, just 1 kilometre away from Palau city centre and its services, just 20 minutes ferry boat trip away from Isle of La Maddalena and its beautiful Marine Park and just 30 minutes drive from the fashionable “Costa Smeralda”. The nearest beach is only 150 meters away and it overlooks the wonderful islands of Santo Stefano and La Maddalena. The beach is surrounded by a thick pinewood, the ideal place for picnics and long walks.

Practically furnished, the apartments can be situated either at ground floor level with garden (patio with table and chairs) or at first floor level with veranda (table and chairs). Each room is equipped with TV color and telephone. Reception, solarium, well equipped swimming-pool. Distance from the sea: 150/250 meters from the wonderful white sandy beach
What's included
Rates include: water, electricity, gas consumption and final cleaning, bed and bathroom linen, courtesy kit, swimming-pool access (includes use of deckchairs and sunbeds whenever available)

Final cleaning: final cleaning of the kitchenette is guests’ responsibility, should this be found dirty €50,00 surcharge is applied.

Damage sureties deposit: €150,00 (to be settled locally) refundable at the end of the stay, assuming no damage or misuse of the apartment has incurred.
